If you are looking for some easy q-tip crafts for the cold months while kids are stuck indoors, try making some q-tip snowflakes! These couldn’t be easier to make and kids of all ages will love coming up with different q-tip snowflake designs.
You know I love to see what I can come up with with q-tips. My q-tip flowers are the most popular post on my blog! This little craft is no different. You can make them as simple or intricate as you wish!
I love this craft because it is cleaner and warmer than playing outside in the snow! When the kids get stir crazy pull out the cotton swabs and make some beautiful snowflakes.
Q-tip crafts are some of my favorites because most people already have everything they need on hand. This is an easy one to pull out when you have run out of ideas and want to limit screen time. Even older kids will enjoy making their snowflakes.
How To Make Q-Tip Snowflakes
All you need are a few materials for this easy project!
- Black Paper
Step One: The first thing you will want to do is cut up the q-tips in different sizes and lengths.
Step Two: Next, begin glueing them down onto the paper, forming snowflake shapes.
Step Three: Keep adding on to make them more and more detailed!
Step Four: Cut out around each snowflake and you are finished!
I just think they are so charming and kids of all ages will love making these! And if they get bored with these, try making some Hot Glue Snowflakes for an even more elegant snowflake craft!
