I’m know I’m late in posting this week’s menu! Mondays are super crazy days for me and I wasn’t organized enough to post this yesterday. We didn’t get around to eating all of the planned meals from last week, so I’m carrying them over to this week. We must have had more leftovers than I had thought. I did come up with an amazing brownie using whole wheat flour and sucanat instead of sugar. I’ll post the recipe at the end!

And now for the brownie recipe. I really was very skeptical that I could make a decent tasting brownies with no refined sugar or flour. I love brownies and I usually can tell if something isn’t the “real thing”. But these are actually very good! I’m not going to say that they are as good as regular white flour, white sugar brownies… but they are pretty darn close. Close enough to make it this way from now on. I’m also not claiming that they are good for you and you are allowed to eat 20 of them because of the whole grains and unrefined sugar…but maybe you can eat 2 instead of 1 and not feel guilty!
