When we had our garage sale last weekend, my parents brought some things over to sell. I grabbed this framed vintage calendar print for myself. I loved the colors and the medium wooden frame. The teal is almost the same color as our dining room and the frame is the same tone as our mid century table. However, the mat needed some serious help…and the print was falling out of the mat.
So, I carefully took out the print and mat. Then, I grabbed some flat white spray paint that we had lying around and sprayed the mat. After re-framing and centering it, it looked good as new!
I think it’s perfect against our teal walls!
Have you ever tried spray painting photo mats? I’ve done it a few times and I’m always pleased with the results. It’s such a quick and cheap fix!
