Spring is finally here and it’s time I shared another spring wreath! I decided to try my hand at making flowers from crepe paper. I think this crepe paper wreath for spring turned out so bright and cheery. I’m not sure how it will hold up, so I may just leave it up for a few weeks and then keep it on hand for spring decor or even party decor in the future! All you need are a few materials to make these paper flowers and turn them into a springy wreath of your own!

Materials Needed For A Crepe Paper Wreath For Spring
Here are the materials you will need:
- Wire Wreath Form
- Crepe Paper
- Wire
- Glue
- Spray Paint (optional)
Instructions For How To Make A Crepe Paper Wreath
1. Spray a wire wreath form with white spray paint.
I didn’t want the black wreath form to show through, so I sprayed mine with a few coats of white spray paint before getting started.
2. Make 3 different types of flowers.. Cut strips of crepe paper into zig zags, scallops and fringe.
Next, it’s time to make the flowers. I used this tutorial I found on DIY Candy awhile back. Refer to that one for a more detailed explanation.
3. Dot some glue all along the bottom of the crepe paper.
4. Then, stick on your thin wire.
I looped the top of mine to make it a bit thicker as you can see above. I didn’t use floral wire since the “stems” of these flowers wont be showing in the wreath.
5. Then, you just wrap, fold, fluff, wrap, fold, fluff the crepe paper around the wire over and over again.
After making a few, you will get the hang of it.
The 3 different types of cut paper will make slightly different flowers. Aren’t they so cute??
6. Then just begin wrapping the wire around the wreath form.
Keep wrapping and fluffing the flowers as you go.
7. Tuck in any stray wires and you are done!
I just love how this paper flower wreath turned out. Perfect for spring!!
