This is the world’s easiest little project – a painted twig bouquet. But, I had to share because it’s a super unexpected way to decorate for fall and your kids can do it all! And that rhymed! Summer isn’t even over and I’m already thinking about fall, but that’s how it goes here in blogger world. Whip these little painted twig bouquets with the kids or do it yourself! This also makes an adorable spring bouquet…or really for any time of the year!
You will need:
- twigs
- acrylic paint
- paintbrush
That’s it! I found it easier to paint my twigs white first before adding the colors. You could definitely skip this step but the lighter colors might not show up as well.
Just keep adding stripes, dots and patterns.
My 7 year old helped me with our little bouquet. We painted some of them a solid color and kept a few white.
It now sits on a bookshelf in her room and it’s the cutest! I think you could make these look more chic in a more limited color scheme and with larger branches, or use specific colors to decorate for a baby or wedding shower! For more ideas like this one, check out my other crafty posts!
