Today I’m sharing an easy and modern way to make photo blocks. I’ve seen these around Pinterest and since I had some black and white photos of my girls, I thought it would be fun to combine them with bright colors for a unique little craft. These would look so cute displayed in a nursery. My girls also love mixing and matching and stacking the blocks.
How do you make DIY photo blocks? First, paint your blocks with acrylic paint. Then, cut out your photos. Put half the photo on one block and half on the other block. Brush Mod Podge underneath and on top of the photos. Allow the blocks to dry before displaying them.
If you are looking for a creative and easy gift idea, these modern DIY photo blocks for kids are the perfect solution. These were so easy to make and I love the fact that not only do they look great on a shelf, but they are fun to play with!
My girls loved mixing and matching the blocks to make silly face combinations. You could do this project with photos from multiple kids or different photos of the same child. It would also work with color photos, although I think I prefer black and white for a more modern look. Either way, these modern DIY photo blocks are so fun.
