I’ve been mildly obsessed with the mini bouquets that I’ve seen all over Pinterest and Instagram. I mean, everything is cuter in tiny form, especially a bouquet of flowers. As I was thinking of Thanksgiving coming up, I thought it would be so cute to come up with a mini bouquet place setting that would also serve as a take home favor. This has a different vibe than the embroidery hoop place settings that I posted a little while back.
I was excited to work with Scotch® Create Adhesives again for this project. It really couldn’t be easier to create these tiny bouquets. They are so charming and can be made with any kind of craft paper. I grabbed some floral papers that I thought would be perfect for a fall tablescape.
For this project, you will need:
- Craft Paper
- Twine
- Eucalyptus (faux or real)
- Scotch® Create Mounting Squares
- Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape
You can find all of theScotch® Create Adhesives products at Walmart in the craft aisle.
First, you will need to cut the paper in a rectangle The size just depends on how large or small you want your bouquet to turn out.
Place a mounting square on one corner of the paper and begin rolling it to form a cone shape. I love how to mounting squares make this project so easy. Just peel and stick! Way better than dealing glue or tape for this particular craft!
Add one more square to the opposite corner on the wrong side of the paper to finish off the cone.
Place a piece of washi tape around the cone if desired.
Fill with eucalyptus and tie on some twine. I found my faux eucalyptus on clearance and I just love it!
Add it to your table this holiday season!
I would love to take one of these home, wouldn’t you?
The Scotch® Expressions washi tape and mounting squares made this little project easier than ever! I love just being able to peel, stick and create…you could practically do it one-handed…almost!
