Spring is coming and I’ve come up with the cutest flower craft for kids! These little canvases use fake flowers to create works of art that anyone would love to receive as a gift. These would be the perfect Mother’s Day gift! Not only did your kid make it, but its something anyone would actually want to display in their home!
I love coming up with kids crafts that are fool-proof and usually look great every time. Grab some fake flowers at the dollar store (Dollar Tree is my favorite store!) and some cheap canvases and you’re on your way to creating something so cute every time! Hang them on the wall or wrap them up as a special gift. Either way, kids of all ages can make this sweet craft!
Fake Flower Craft For Kids
Here’s what you will need:
First, you will need to paint the canvas a solid color.
Next, cut a vase shape out of the construction paper.
Next, get a few more colors of paint and let your child go to town painting the vase!
Glue it onto the canvas once it’s dry. I used glue strips, but I’m sure regular glue would work as well.
Start glueing on faux flowers and pipe cleaners for the stems with a hot glue gun.
And that’s pretty much it!
Your kids will love how they turned out and you will love displaying them in your home for spring or wrapping them up for a special Mother’s Day gift or even an end of year teacher gift!
