We had a garage sale this past weekend. It was a lot of work, but a huge success! We got rid of most items and made more money than expected. It was kind of addicting and I’m hoping to have one each year from now on. (This was our first one ever). We even made a profit on a few things and were able to sell them for more than what we paid.
Anyway, I pulled this little wicker bench out of storage to stick in the garage sale (I think it was my Grandmother’s), but decided it would be cute in the new entryway.
I whipped out some leftover emerald green paint from a different project and painted the top.
I still may paint the legs green or maybe white…or maybe leave them. I stuck a pillow on it and called it good for now!
I love free projects!
I also love the bright pop of green, I don’t have much that color in the house and it adds some cheer against those neutral stripes!
