Directions For How To Make a Dream Catcher Wreath for Under $10
Step One: The first thing you want to do for your dream catcher is wrap the entire hoop with yarn. Just make sure it’s close together and not overlapping.
Step Two: Next, I marked mine with washi tape to map out where I will begin looping the yarn. I wanted to make sure it was evenly spaced.
Step Three: You are going to loop the yarn over each spot where the tape is placed on the dream catcher and then go around and loop again to create another inside layer
Step Four: Make sure you are just looping the yarn and not creating knots. The first time I tried this, I was making knots and it didn’t work. You also want to make sure your yarn is pulled pretty tight.
Step Five: Keep pulling and looping until you like your design. It’s so hard to explain this process but once you start doing it, you will get it. It’s super easy.
Step Six: Hot glue one some feathers and greenery on to the dream catcher. I had these faux air plants which I love.
Step Seven: Hang your DIY dream catcher with some yarn and call it done!
I think some brightly colored yarn would make a super cute dream catcher for a little girls room. So, you may be seeing more versions of these in the future!
