Goldfish Salad For Kids

If you are like me, then it’s probably always a struggle to get kids to eat their veggies. While I never want to force my children to eat anything, I still think it’s important to keep introducing a variety of foods on their plate to get them comfortable with trying new things. I’ve heard that you may have to give them a new food 30 times before they will even try one bite. That seems like it’s pretty accurate according to how our dinners go around here!

My older girls are just now starting to love salad, but my younger kiddos are still not there yet. I do know that they LOVE Goldfish. So, I decided to create a salad that is colorful and fun with some Goldfish sprinkled on top! While they may not have eaten an entire serving the first time I gave this to them, it was a way to introduce salad that got them excited. It’s always about trying new things, right? This Goldfish salad for kids is so yummy that adults will love it too!

I headed to Walmart and grabbed some bulk Goldfish Cheddar Made with Whole Grain crackers, and the Pretzel variety. When in doubt, just get the biggest size! That’s my philosophy anyways. Then, gather the rest of your ingredients.
