Whip up these cute little pom pom planters just in time for Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation week! I needed a quick and easy gift and wanted to use up some craft supplies I already had on hand. I love anything with succulents and pom poms, so this is what I came up with!
All you need is a terra cotta pot, some pom poms and super glue. I opted for Super glue because I felt like hot glue would leave a big visible glob and the super glue is more inconspicuous. But hot glue would work too.
Give your pot a coat of paint if desired. I used some chalk paint and sanded around the edges for a more weathered look.
Super glue those little poms on and you are done! I love just plain white, but different colors could look cool too!
For the stripe, just use painters tape and then peel it off while the paint is still wet. I’m planning on putting a little message on some craft paper, gluing it on a toothpick and sticking it in the plant to finish it off!
