I’m back with yet another gold themed post! Yes, I’ve gone crazy with gold spray paint and gold leaf around here! I made over some $1 plastic trays into pretty little pieces to store your random things.
I found these aqua square plates on clearance at Target (I think they were around $1), but to me they seemed like they would be a nice little tray to stash your jewelry, phone, journal and pen or whatever random thing you want to keep by your bed or on an end table.
I grabbed my painter’s tape and taped off stripes on one and triangles on the other.
After a few light coats of gold spray paint on each side, they looked like this:
And of course the most exciting and rewarding part of projects like these is peeling off the tape….such anticipation!
I think they turned out pretty cute and they’ve been living on our bedside tables.
The perfect pretty spot to stash the random stuff when you walk in the door or are getting ready for bed.
