When I made these easy sheet curtains a few years ago, I was sold! These flat sheets are so cheap ($5 for a twin flat sheet at Walmart) and make cute curtains when you add a little something to the edge. I’ve made curtains for two of our bedrooms and two closets.
Once you have a little ball fringe or rick rack on the edge, no one will ever suspect that they are cheapy sheets! I’ve even been known to buy some white sheets and dye them the color I want. Never buy expensive white curtains again!
You could also use these inexpensive flat sheets for:
– DIY pillows – dye or stamp on the sheets, add ball fringe and turn into a pillow
– Table cloth – again, dress up the sheets with stencils or stamps, make one for each holiday!
– Shower Curtains – How cute would a shower curtain with ball fringe around the edge and maybe a stencil around the bottom be? Perfect for a kid’s bathroom!
