Homemade All Purpose Cleaner

In an effort to save money while using natural cleaning alternatives, I’ve found a few homemade cleaners that have worked great for me! This homemade all purpose cleaner recipe is so simple and natural not to mention frugal. I will say that I don’t use this on my granite counters just because I don’t know how safe it is for them. It’s probably fine, but I don’t want to risk it so I use my homemade granite cleaner instead. It works great everywhere else though! You’ve gotta try it for yourself.

Whip up this all natural homemade all purpose cleaner to get your home sparkly clean in no time! This is one of THE BEST homemade cleaners around and works every time!

All Purpose Natural Cleaner

1 gal hot water
1 tbs baking soda
2 tbs liquid soap (I use Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap, but Dawn liquid dish soap would also work)

Mix together in a spray bottle.

*all amounts are approximate. My spray bottle is clearly less than a gallon, but I still used the same amounts of baking soda and soap with less water, it’s just a bit more concentrated!

I’m about to run out of some older all purpose cleaners, so your post is perfect timing. I’m slowly moving to making my own (have been using your wood floor cleaner recipe and recently started making my own glass cleaner and disinfectant too), but haven’t figured out the best way to approach an all purpose cleaner. Thanks for sharing! :-)
