You know how I love dollar store crafts that don’t look like they are from the dollar store. I whipped up these storage containers for my laundry room basement makeover and I love how they turned out! It really took no effort at all, just sticking things on some Dollar Tree containers and calling it good. But when I updated my basement laundry room for under $100, having some inexpensive storage option that still looked decent was a must!
They sit on a shelf next to my dryer so that I can grab whatever I need. To see the crazy before photos, check out my blog post!
I often talk of my obsession with Dollar Tree. I practically squealed when I saw these white storage containers a few months ago. The white ones are very hard to come by, so if you see them, grab them! The key to making these dollar store containers work for you is to get all the same color. I did this with my Dollar Store closet makeover. But white makes the classiest difference in my book! If you can’t find these at Dollar Tree, I did see some large white containers very similar to these in the Target dollar spot for $3. Still a good deal for what you are getting!
The rest of my supplies came from the Target dollar spot. It’s my favorite place for labels, stickers and cute office supplies. I also got some amazing fabric washi tape from the dollar spot that didn’t make it into the photo for some reason.
Enjoy! These would look so cute in a kid’s toy room or a closet! I am beyond thrilled with my super cheap storage solution that looks like I spent way more than I did!
