Make a last minute Halloween candy wreath complete with googly eyes this weekend! I whipped this up after being inspired from the Make It Fun Crafts free Halloween booklet. There are so many easy ideas using Floracraft foam. I loved their candy topiaries with googly eyes and decided to use that idea and make it a wreath! It didn’t take long at all to make and I think it looks super cute and festive hanging on our door. If you live in a warmer climate, you may want to choose candy that won’t melt, but since I live in Kansas City that’s not a problem.
- Make It: Fun Foam Wreath
- Candy (using just one kind makes it look a little more pulled together)
- Tissue Paper
- Glue Gun
- Googly Eyes
First you will need to cover your foam wreath form with tissue paper. Attach it with some hot glue. It’s important to use a foam wreath because it’s lightweight and the candy will make it quite heavy.
Glue your candy onto the wreath. I actually tried this using tons of different kinds of candy and it was just way too busy. I love how using just one candy looks on the wreath. These purple wrapped chocolates were perfect.
