Today I’m sharing one of the easiest projects ever – no sew hanging planters! I wanted to come up with something creative to put plants in for our patio using Command™ and Scotch® Brand products for their Project Amazing campaign. I figured burlap + leather + plants would equal something cute and it ended up being way easier than I anticipated!
First, I headed to Walmart to snag my Command™ and Scotch® Brand products that are now found in their crafting aisle!
You will need:
Command™ damage free clear hooks
Burlap
Leather String
Scotch® Brand Permanent Mounting Tape
The first step is to place the mounting strips on the edges of a long piece of burlap.
Peel off the top paper
Fold the burlap up to create a pocket, leaving a few inches at the top.
Next, add your leather string by pushing it through the holes in the burlap and tying knots.
Put your plant in the pocket.
Now for the important part. Place the Command™ strip on your surface. These are perfect for the outside of your house so that you don’t have to nail anything or damage the siding.
Place the hook on the strip to adhere.
Hang your pocket planter!!
Add a few to create a cute display by your door or anywhere else that needs a little love.
