I needed to send a note and was out of cards, but did have some card stock. My girls were painting with their watercolors at the time and it gave me an idea…we could make our own cards! This is so easy for kids to do and helps them learn different watercolor techniques in the process!
It really doesn’t take an expert. Just a paintbrush and some basic watercolors are all it takes to make these cards.
Make some loops, splatters and squiggles…
Put a piece of paper on the card, splatter it and then remove the paper to get stripe.
Here are all the techniques we tried for our cards:
Fold all your papers in half once they are dry.
Tie with a bow for the cutest gift!
