Did you know that I used to be a “wanna be” photographer? For about 3 years, I did tons of senior pictures, a good amount of family portraits and about 5 weddings. It was definitely just a side hobby that I half heartedly tried to turn into a business. I quickly learned that while I loved photography, doing it for others really stressed me out. While I do lots of photos for my blog, they are staged and not very exciting, so I thought it would be fun to exercise my photography skills again and challenge myself each week. I love my 50mm Canon lens. It provides a challenge because it’s a fixed lens, so there is no zooming in and out. So, I came up with a new series called “50mm Friday” where I would use my lens and shoot random life moments from the week.
I only shot 3 days this week, so I only have a few photos, but here you go for my first installment of 50mm Friday!
