My CRAZY Black Friday Purchase

This post is brought to you by Target, but all opinions and content are my own. Follow along with #MyKindOfHoliday

I have been sick this past week. I've bragged to Reid that I never get sick (and he always manages to catch what the kids have)...but for the first time in a few years, it finally caught up with me. I was waiting for a prescription for my ear infection and decided to head over to Target yesterday, which just happened to be Black Friday! I was shocked at how slow and calm the store was, but I'm sure it's because it was 10:30 AM and all the crazy shoppers were gone.  Since my last post was about a new living room sofa, I thought I'd snap some pictures of other living room accessories that I love. And I think we've made our sofa decision, by the way!

First, I spotted some awesome pillows at great prices. I love the colors in this one:

And this yellow one was one of my favorites. I think it was only like $16 or something! I think it would look perfect on a gray sofa!

I also thought this chair would be such a great little accent piece.

Or, I later found this one online that's one sale for Black Friday actually:

or this one:

I also love this deep teal velvet chair. So cute! Kind of hard to see in my cell phone picture though, sorry.

As I was browsing the aisles, I saw this tray that I thought was fun and could be used for Christmas or really anytime of the year.

And I had to take a photo of these two owl pieces. I love the long white tray with the little owl perched on the ledge.

So, what did I end up with on my big Black Friday shopping experience?
I know, I went CRAZY this year! What about you? Do you get in to Black Friday or do you prefer to avoid the crowds?

  1. Nice! I avoid the crowds and do all my shopping online.

  2. Hope you're feeling better! I love the teal chair, and it would look great with that yellow pillow!
I didn't go out on Black Friday (Hello Amazon!), but I did go to Toys-R-Us Thursday night with my Dad. We eat "dinner" at around 1 or 2ish, so we were just sitting around waiting for football to start anyway. It actually wasn't too crazy, but they were only letting about 50 people into the store every 10 min, so we stood outside in the cold longer than we spent inside the store.
