I love garage sale season, don’t you? It’s one of my favorite things about spring! I have seen “haul” posts on other blogs where bloggers post their finds from shopping trips. I hit up some garage sales and thrift store sales (50% off for Memorial day) over the weekend and I thought it would be fun to do a thrifty “haul” for those of us who get a rush from cheap finds!
My first stop was a garage sale that had some fabulous women’s clothing in amazing condition! I wanted to buy so much more, but wasn’t sure what would fit me. I ended up with 4 things, all from Ann Taylor Loft and in new condition and only $1 each!
Next, I found this vintage wooden doll highchair at another garage sale. My girls just broke the one we had (a garage sale find from a few years ago), so I was excited to find this one. I hope to recover the little seat in some cute fabric.
I also picked up a bag of metal cookware for the girls’ toy kitchen at the same garage sale.
At the next sale, I found some more sweet clothing items. A Forever 21 jacket for $4 and a bohemian shirt for $1.
Reid was especially excited to find this authentic vintage pearl snap western shirt for only $1. He is addicted to finding these shirts and they can be much more expensive!
I scored this nice little wicker basket at another random sale for only $1.
Next, I hit up Savers for their Memorial Day 50% off sale. I found a cute shirt for myself for only $4 and a few other things for the girls that I forgot to take pictures of. (A pair of shoes, a shirt and a dress..all $1 or $2 each)
Lastly, we went to another local thrift store that also was running a Memorial Day sale and found some games for the girls.
And a little wooden toy for Pearl.
And those were my finds! I think I did pretty well! Our neighborhood is having a garage sale this weekend, so maybe I will be back with another “haul” post next week.
