I've had this chevron fabric for a few months now and just now have finally made a curtain for the kitchen window. It's Premier Prints Zoom Zoom Twill in Harmony
Isn't it just perfect? I'm in love with it. I was going to make a roman shade like my bedroom blinds, but didn't know how that would work in the space. And realistically I wasn't going to have it all the way down.
Then, I saw Young House Love's brilliant faux roman shade and decided to make my own version.
I actually used a tension rod and sewed mine instead of making no sew one like they did.
I will post a full tutorial once I make the final touches. I'm going to shorten it a bit and fix some of the little puckers.
I also may or may not have made a bonus mini curtain for the girls play kitchen! Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteOurs are no sew, just some adhesive on a cheap roman shade!
I love the color combo in that Chevron fabric. Way cute!
