How’s life? Are you enjoying this glorious weather? I know I’ve said it before, but May and June are my favorite months. I wish I could live in these moments forever.
We have 12 big peony bushes in our yard, and they were in full bloom early this year. I couldn’t pick them fast enough!
I love that smell. So does she.
Garage sales are abounding this time of year. We are gearing up for our first ever garage sale next weekend. I found these babies, brand new with the $69 price tag still on them a few weeks ago for $5. Love garage sales.
I can’t believe I haven’t posted about my mother’s day gift yet! Reid gave this to me (after a LOT of hinting on my part). And it’s perfect. He did a wonderful job picking it out and I haven’t taken it off since. It’s precious. (is that paint in my hair? can you tell what I’ve been doing?)
Janie is embarking on a new phase…entering the land of “terrible two’s” Sometimes I hate that phrase, because I don’t want to call my daughter “terrible”. She really is the sweetest thing, but she is definitely more fiesty, daring and challenging than her sissy. And why must she look so cute when she does naughty things? That doesn’t help one bit.
I scored the vintage playschool trike at a thrift store a few months ago for a few dollars in case you were wondering.
I hope you are enjoying the great outdoors as much as us and soaking up this beautiful time of year.
May you have a wonderful weekend.
God is good!
