I’ve been wanting to create a gallery wall in my living room, and I’m finally actually doing it! Slowly, I’ve been collecting frames from thrift stores and garage sales and spray painting them white. That has been the easy part…the hard part is figuring out inexpensive things to put in the frames that don’t look too “homemade”. I will share all of my different framed things with you as I come up with them. Here is my first little project for the gallery wall. It was so quick and easy!
I have this little polaroid that my friend took of Reid and I in the hospital the day we had Lula. I decided it would be the perfect size for this little square frame that I found and spray painted white. I also snagged some leftover scrapbooking paper and cut it to size.
Then, I taped the picture on the paper and I was done! The paper coordinates perfectly with my teal shirt in the picture, love how that little detail worked out!
I can’t wait to add it to the gallery when I’m done
My next little piece of artwork is going to involve these…
Better go get working on it!
